The Body Tells The Truth

Chris Caldwell

This workshop looks at the work of Wilhelm Reich, a contemporary of Freud and Jung, who was the first theoretician to factor in the physical body to the well-being of the human organism.

Reich was essentially practical, so the workshop will involve some breathing and movement exercises to experience the energetic shifts that Reich and his followers, particularly Alexander Lowen, developed.

As well, we will further develop the notion of Body Analysis as a diagnostic and transformational tool

Note: The workshop runs for 5 hours and is followed by 2 hours group Supervision.

Chris Caldwell is a psychologist registered to practice since 1991.

He has taught counselling practice in the UK  and in Melbourne at the Southern School of Natural Therapies, Melbourne College of Complementary Medicine and The Phoenix Institute. As well, he has facilitated many workshops and seminars in a private capacity.

Currently, he is in private practice in the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria.
