Ongoing Transpersonal Art Therapy Support Group in Sydney 2017
About the PresenterSince the 1980’s Jane has been involved in education, healing, personal growth and spiritual awareness working as a psychotherapist, holistic counsellor, teacher, group facilitator, clinical supervisor and writer. Her formal training is in Gestalt Therapy, Holistic Counselling, Sensorimotor Art Therapy, Education and Homoeopathy.
As a therapist Jane has the utmost respect for a person’s inherent wisdom, resilience and the capacity to transform their challenges into growth opportunities if given the support of a safe and empathic environment. Jane adopts an integrative approach incorporating the interrelationship between mind, body, spirit and the natural world. To facilitate the therapeutic process she uses the mediums of present-centred awareness, body-oriented focus, clay field therapy, sand play and symbol work, guided drawing, and meditation.
The ongoing Support group will provide an opportunity for participants to continue their personal and professional development within the safety and holding of a facilitated group process. A different theme will be explored each month to foster individuals creative expression and personal inquiry.
Each group will commence at 2pm and conclude at 5pm. There will be a tea break with refreshments provided.
