About the Presenter
Since the 1980’s I have been involved in education, healing, personal growth and spiritual awareness working as a teacher, group facilitator, therapist, supervisor and writer. My formal training is in Education, Holistic Counselling, Homoeopathy, Art Therapy and Gestalt Therapy however my most profound learning has come from my own experience and psycho-spiritual journey. I have utmost respect for people’s inherent wisdom, resilience and the capacity to transform their challenges into growth opportunities if given the right sort of support.
To support and facilitate the therapeutic process I draw upon a variety of approaches depending on the needs of my client. These include gestalt, clay field therapy, sand play and symbol work, guided drawing, body-oriented focus and mindfulness based stress reduction
Over the past 15 years I have taught counselling and supervised students both at undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
