Cheryl will guide the group through a number of Expressive Therapies Activities, allowing personal processing and expression, as well as exploration of inner strengths and resources.

which means IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU and enhancing your wellbeing!
Cheryl holds a Master of Counselling & Human Services, a Graduate Diploma of Counselling Supervision, a Diploma of Family Therapy and a Graduate Diploma in Counselling. Cheryl is also trained in Transpersonal & Emotion Focused Therapy, Expressive Therapies, Sandplay Therapy and Autism Support Work.
A client-centred approach underpins Cheryl’s work as she uses a range of techniques to best meet client needs and support personal healing and growth. Her approach to supervision is to provide a safe and supportive space where counsellors can explore their work with clients and their own personal and professional development. Cheryl provides feedback and guidance on client work as well as supporting the counsellor in their professional and personal growth.
Cheryl has had extensive experience providing counselling services to diverse client groups over a fifteen year period, and providing counselling supervision over the last six years. In 2003 Cheryl established a Registered Training Organisation and developed training programs for Counsellors and Community Workers which she coordinated and facilitated until the sale of the College in 2010.
Cheryl currently runs a private Psychotherapy and Supervision practice in Port Melbourne and supervises students undertaking the Bachelor of Holistic Counselling with the Phoenix Institute.
Cheryl has full registration with the following peak industry bodies:
· Australian Counselling Association (Reg. No. 5590)
· Counsellor's and Psychotherapist's Association of Victoria (Reg. No. 219)
· Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (Reg. No. 21570)
· Cheryl is registered as a Counselling Supervisor with PACFA, CAPAV and ACA
